Notes on Travel is a collection of the notes, links and info we (Jayne and Tim) gather when planning and travelling on trips. We’re frequently looking things up online but can’t always find the answer in one place, or want to know a bit more. I’ve written up the things we found useful to know in advance, how they work out when you’re actually there and some things/places we’d recommend doing/visiting, because I love recommendations myself and hope they might be helpful for others, too!
I’m a photographer so I’ve included plenty of photographs I’ve taken on the trips and I’ve included links to websites where I’ve found useful ones or Google Maps locations so you can find the places.
Generally we travel to a region and visit several towns or cities around there. You can explore the full trips using the links below or if you’re just looking for info on a single city they’re all listed in the menu bar, too.
I hope it’s helpful. I’ll be adding lots as time goes on and I’m always keen for more recommendations so please feel free to add your tips in the comments for each place!
